Malaria Free Uganda (MFU) was officially launched in September 2020 as a structured public–private partnership initiative working in strategic alignment with the National Malaria Elimination Division (NMED) ) of the Ministry of Health and its partners to eliminate malaria in Uganda. MFU is an independent, non-profit foundation incorporated in Uganda and is country-led and country-owned for the benefit of all Ugandans.
MFU provides high-level advocacy, mobilizes domestic resources, and strengthens accountability to accelerate progress toward eliminating malaria by 2030.
